When starting a new construction project, it is imperative to have a designer work together with the architect and builder early in the design process to mitigate the risk of needing to remodel.

At the conceptual stage of a new construction project, we are able to provide quick and knowledgeable insight into how a house will be used and perceived by residents and guests.  This saves the architect and the client time in finding the "sweet spot" where everything flows together.  In many cases, we serve as a translator of sorts – we intimately understand what the client envisions and help the architect interpret that vision. Having a design perspective can help optimize lot space, views and other site-specific elements.

We select materials that are both eco-friendly and aesthetically intriguing.  Early selection of these finishing materials helps to reduce later changes in plans to accommodate the dimensional and structural requirements of different finish choices.
